Welcome to EFTTA
The European Fishing Tackle Trade Association was established in London in 1981 with a clear purpose: support the tackle trade industry to promote sportfishing, international business and environmental issues. That last is the reason why EFTTA is registered as an official lobbying association in Brussels and currently is dealing in the European Court with questions related to small hydropower stations, cormorants, lead ban and the Baltic salmon management plan. We'll be continually updating information that you can find under "EFTTA" and "News & Info" tabs above.
EFTTA members are mainly Agents, Manufacturers, Press and Wholesalers from the fishing tackle industry. They all meet at EFTTEX, the leading European Fishing Tackle Trade Exhibition, that's celebrated every year in a different capital of Europe.
Last June, Brussels was the hosting city for EFTTEX 2014 and it was a truly memorable Show. On behalf of the EFTTA Secretariat, CEO and Board of Directors, we would like to thank trade members who participated on the Show. Much of EFTTA's success is due to the support of its members and the trade and we hope that EFTTEX proved to be a productive investment.
Please keep an eye on the website updates for EFTTEX 2015 in Warsaw, Poland on 11th - 13th June 2015. For all enquiries relating to EFTTEX 2015, please contact Exhibition Manager, Victoria Seymour on firstname.lastname@example.org.
