As the curtain came down on the 38th EFTTEX trade show in Brussels, exhibitors paid tribute to the success of the show and the valuable business leads it brought to their companies.
Mark Spain, of Flambeau Outdoors Europe, was quick to praise the latest event in the Belgian capital. "The show was a great success. We were looking to communicate our new lines, discuss the next year of business and meet potential partners. I feel that these were met effectively and the company went away having exceeded what we expected – certainly in new business."
EFTTEX debutant, Knotter, travelled down from Finland to debut its Uni-Knot and was pleased with the response it received from visitors to its booth. Founder, Kalle Saarinen, said: "We were happy that so many people found our product exciting. "As a result, we were able to make very good contact with distributors and wholesalers, which was our main goal in attending the exhibition."
Another company making its first appearance at EFTTEX was Chinese lure manufacturer, Recertop, and the company has already re-booked to attend the event in Prague next year. Leon Zhu told Newslines: "Our first EFTTEX was a success as we met many potential customers who expressed an interest in taking our OEM baits. It certainly exceeded all our expectations and we look forward to a repeat in the Czech Republic."
Well established Indian fishing tackle manufacturer, Bhagwati – a long-time EFTTEX exhibitor – was happy with the result of its latest appearance at the show. Director Kailash Tibrewal, said: "It was once again a useful venture for us as we achieved our aim of finding new wholesalers across Europe, including Russia and France.
