EFTTA has praised the generosity of EFTTEX exhibitors who donated fishing tackle to the show's nominated charity, De Maatjes.
The Belgian-based non-profit organisation was also chosen by EFTTEX in 2014 when the show was last hosted in Brussels. It is a fishing club that offers recreational and competitive fishing tuition to all, particularly the young and those with disabilities.

Also for the second year running exhibitor PT Central Sarana Pancing (Relix) auctioned off a handmade rod. The auction ran on the EFTTA Facebook page in the month running up to EFTTEX 2019 and the winning bid was €400 – this money alongside €35 donated on the Relix stand at the show has been deposited in the charity’s account to be put towards more equipment for the charity to use.
