One of the newest members of the EFTTA Board has pledged to work to spread the word about the association and the work it does.
Istvàn Pàl, CEO of Hungarian based bait manufacturer, Energofish, joined Erik Naberman, Managing Director of Shimano Europe, as a new member of the Board of Directors at the Annual General Assembly (AGA).
He said he was proud to be elected and become an active voice on the Board for a region which has been under represented in the past. He said: “A lot of work needs to be done to educate people about EFTTA and what it does. Many just join the exhibition to exhibit at the show. We need to change that mindset.” He also said that more should be done by the association to encourage European manufacturing.
Lucio Sirotti, of Plastica Panaro (Italy) resigned his position on the board, while Bernard Leveque, of Sensas (France) was reelected to serve another 3 years.
